June 9th: Factory tour of Gautier Mückstein & Ellinger GmbH

On June 9th we will visit an old friend from the Young Economy / JCI Austria in his production of essences and spirits.

Florian Mückstein lets us into his hallowed halls in the midst of ongoing operations. That’s why the tour starts at 3 p.m. and we can only participate in a limited number due to hygiene regulations.

We would be happy to invite you to be part of this company tour and ask for double reliability.

Florian runs the “Gautier Mückstein” in the third generation of the family, and has expanded the business field from rum and high-proof spirits to include aromas, essences and raw materials for the food industry. During the COVID period, the company was also quickly converted to a manufacturer of disinfectants.

During Florian’s tour, we will be able to see and hear the various production steps, as well as the automatic bottling plant in operation. At the end of the tour we will certainly be able to taste a few good wines.

Afterwards there is a joint visit to the Heurigen in order to be able to end the day comfortably

Get Together for Ukraine on 21st of March (update)

Alleviate suffering: Medical support for those affected by the Ukraine-Russia conflict

Please not the change of Date due to a Corona Case in our Core Team

The Austrian JCI Senate, together with the artists Nikolaus Eberstaller & Lucija Radwan, invite you to a benefit vernissage with the offering of works of art to benefit those affected by the Ukraine conflict by providing medical materials and aid.

Due to the complex situation and news coverage we found a lack of basic medical supplies in the Ukraine/Poland border area as well as within Ukraine itself. Alleviating suffering is our top priority and this charity event is dedicated to this goal. With Nikolaus Eberstaller we were able to win an artist who has already worked through the topics of war and refugees several times and will make limited prints available. Lucija Radwan has in the course of her artistic activity dealt with “horrors that have become normal” will contribute dry-point etchings.

We therefore invite you to this very special vernissage where we will collect donations and offer the artists’ works of art for sale. 100% of proceeds from both donations as well as art-sales go directly to the beneficiary.

GALLERY TOUR with JCI Senator Thomas Emmerling

In February 2020, art collector, dealer and JCI Senator # 63204 Thomas Emmerling took over the artistic direction of the Private Art Club ART 9TEEN in Vienna’s 19th district.

We are looking forward to enjoying an exclusive guided tour through the current exhibition by the Bucharest artist Oana Ionel with paintings, drawings and video on the topic of “Secret Stories of Danube River”.

You can talk to the collector Thomas Emmerling about art as a capital investment in times of Corona and the art market in general or simply enjoy an inspiring evening in a Viennese art salon.

Summer Event – Roofs over Vienna

Loved traditions should not be allowed to fall asunder.
For this reason our summer meeting takes place this year on top of Vienna. A new rooftop bar with view over vienna, we take a look at the Aurora Bar at the Andaz Hotel near the main train station with a view of Vienna. The Scandinavian-inspired design and hopefully good weather will ensure a relaxing evening with friends.

In addition, for our senators and friends who do not reside in Vienna, it has never been easier. By train in front of the event door directly at Vienna Central Station.

Due to Corona, reliable registration is essential. The number of participants is of course limited.

Wine Tasting in Gols

We hike comfortably through Golser Top reeds and receive explanations about the surroundings, the vegetation, the work in the vineyard and the vineyards from a renowned winegrower.
When the weather is nice you have a wonderful view from Lake Neusiedl to the Schneeberg.

At the end of the 2 hour guided hike there will be a wine tasting in the wine culture house of 3 typical Gols wines.

When: July 25th
Start: 10 a.m. – on time

Duration about 2.5 hours

Cost: for the guided hike including wine tasting 25.- €

Weinlese bei Just Rust (Burgenland)

Passend zum Herbst, besuchen wir ein Weingut!  Eine wunderbare Gelegenheit, den Wert des Weins durch ein bisschen körperliche Mitarbeit, Erkundigung der wichtigsten Herstellungsprozesse und Verkostung einmal richtig schätzen lernen ….

14 Uhr: Eintreffen im Weingut Just

Gemeinsame Fahrt zu den Weinreben: Mithilfe bei der Weinlese (ca. 1 ½ Stunden)

Anschließend Kellerführung und Weinverkostung am Weingut in der Weinbergstraße 16.

Dabei sind wir von der Familie Just eingeladen (Weine, die begeistern, können dann gerne auch käuflich für den späteren Genuss erworben werden.)

17:00 Uhr: Kremayrhaus – Stadtmuseum Rust

Dieses Bürgerhaus aus dem Jahre 1675 ist nunmehr als Museum ausgestattet. Es beschreibt die Stadtgeschichte und die Geschichte der Umgebung von Rust. Ebenso ist eine sehenswerte Kunstsammlung untergebracht.

Wir erhalten auf Einladung der Stadt eine private Führung durch die Leiterin des Museums.

Ab 18:30 Uhr ist in der „Römerzeche“, Rathausplatz 11 reserviert

Alle Ziele sind ca. 3 – 5 Gehminuten voneinander entfernt. Parken beim Weingut Just empfohlen.
